S.P.A.M Fundraiser

October 30, 2003-Socket Internet Inc. raised $4,500 for the Mid-Missouri Ronald McDonald House Charities through their S.P.A.M Sending Patients A Message fundraiser. Donations were made by new and current Socket customers who signed up with Socket during the month of September.

People were also encouraged to send in a good wish message to the seriously ill children and their families who are supported by the Ronald McDonald house of Mid-Missouri. The caring messages were placed on an online message board and then developed into keepsake booklets.

A presentation of the check was held on Thursday, October 30 at the Ronald McDonald house of Mid-Missouri located at 1001 East Stadium Blvd. at 10:00 a.m. After the presentation, the Sending Patients A Message booklets along with balloons were delivered to the Ronald McDonald House patients at University and Boone Hospital.
